Audio Typist/ Legal Secretary
Kirkland associates are looking for a confident and experienced Centralised Legal Secretary within our fantastic clients Legal Support Services team, based in their Rugby office.
The role will suit experienced Legal Secretaries/Typists who work with a great attention to detail, together with excellent typist and transcription skills.
You will have very strong administrative skills, be able to co-ordinate straightforward tasks as well as some tasks with elements of complexity. You will be confident in your ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy at the same time.
You will also enjoy learning legal terminology across a number of Practice Areas as well as sharing your own personal knowledge with your colleagues in an effort to upskill each other alongside targeting internal training.
Please note that minimum of 60wpm is required to be considered for this role.
This is a non-customer facing role and provides a high level of secretarial support to all Executive Lawyers and Lawyers around the firm via a centralised secretarial unit.
You will be joining a team of five other experienced Legal Secretaries who work centrally dealing largely with document production from digital dictations. Legal Secretaries undertake and co-ordinate straightforward transcription and copy typing tasks, working under routine direction against established priorities, processes and procedures while exercising some autonomy. You will be responsible for the completion of allocated tasks within required timeframes and producing work that is subject to checking by staff in Legal Services.
