Kirkland Associates are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to support our clients busy Business Development team's ambitious goals for the future.
You will be supporting the both the Milton Keynes and Northampton offices to build effective and commercial relationships with their clients, referrer and target contacts in the local market. Therefore an element of travel will be included in the role and having your own transport is essential.
This role also includes responsibility for tenders and pitch proposals across the firm, supporting the delivery of marketing initiatives to help protect and grow their client base in Milton Keynes and Northampton markets.
We are looking for someone that has a genuine enthusiasm for Business Development and marketing and has a positive outlook. You will need to have a flexible and pragmatic approach to the role as our client has a very diverse team. The role also demands an ability to demonstrate commercial thinking and to listen and converse at all levels.
·Researching new business opportunities and helping fee earners to qualify new target contacts;
·Assisting Partners in the Milton Keynes and Northampton offices to deliver their business plans by developing and managing bespoke business development campaigns to raise profile and win new work;
·Taking a lead role in assisting Partners with their tender and pitch opportunities;
·Assisting Partners and fee earners to manage their pipeline of contacts on our central database;
·Assisting in the management of our annual directory submissions, liaising with fee earners across the firm;
·Planning and co-coordinating marketing events and seminars in our Milton Keynes and Northampton offices.
You will have:-
·Previous experience of working in a business development/marketing role in a legal or similar professional services partnership /firm;
·Are highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines;
·Have demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects at once;
·Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
·Are pro-active and able to work on your own initiative;
·Have a keen eye for detail.
