Job Description

Kirkland Associates are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join our prestigious client in their Family department. This is a full time role and experience in the Family department is not essential. Family Legal Secretary- The Role:

  • Provide secretarial support to Family Lawyers 
  • Prepare court bundles 
  • Billing 
  • Liaise with clients and answer general enquiries 
  • Producing and proof reading legal documentation 
  • Maintain filing and record systems 
  • Prepare briefs for counsel 
  • Diary management of Family Lawyers
  • General administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning and printing 

Family Legal Secretary- The Candidate: 

  • Good time keeping and organisational skills 
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines 
  • Can work under minimal supervision and use initiative 
  • Can work well as part of a team 
  • Excellent IT skills 
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
