Job Description

Kirkland Associates are currently working with an innovative client based in Loughborough. They are recruiting for a Technical Customer Service Executive to join their well-established team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate must have previous Customer Service experience and a technical knowledge, candidates must also have an enthusiastic attitude to work.

Technical Customer Service Executive- The Role:

  • Provide technical telephone support to distributors, end users and internal and external sales staff
  • Process returns to agreed procedures
  • Investigate and respond to queries
  • Diagnose technical problems and attempt to resolve where possible
  • Chase the progress of returns
  • Complete all administrative tasks
  • Chase customer complaints to provide a satisfactory resolution
  • Liaise with all departments
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required

Technical Customer Service Executive- The Candidate:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Can work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Wide range of technical knowledge preferable
  • Attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • Able to work as part of a team
