Job Description
My client are leading law firm in Edgbaston. They are looking for IT Support to join their team on a permanent basis.Salary dependent on experience.
IT Support - The Role:
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line support on hardware / software for all users in the business, ensuring all support calls are logged accurately and cases are resolved.
- Installing and configuring of computer hardware / software.
- To liaise with 3rd party companies to troubleshoot issues with hardware / software and maintain good relations with the teams involved.
- To reduce the volume of support calls by applying appropriate preventative measures such as updates, regular maintenance checks and training.
- Continually review bespoke company software & procedures making the case for changes where required.
- Experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of various software
- Databases and networking skills
- Have good communication skills and keep up to date with technology advancements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- To be able to work off own initiative and work well within a team
