We are looking for an HR Manager to provide comprehensive and professional HR services to our client in the Melton Mowbray area. This is a generalist role where you'll be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, ensuring best practices in employment, recruitment, training and development, benefits and employee relations.
£36,000 Monday to Friday
Senior HR Officer - The Role
Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management and off-boarding
Build strong working relationships across the business, delivering value-added services to management and employees
Provide HR guidance and support to management where necessary
Develop, implement and improve HR policies and procedures that comply with UK legal requirements
Manage contractual paperwork, including offer letters and contracts of employment
Maintain employee records and update HR systems
Provide advice and support on employee relations, disciplinary actions and grievance procedures
Administer employee payroll and absence management
Produce HR reports as required
Senior HR Officer - The Candidate:
Experience working in HR at Manager level
Comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and remain calm under pressure
