Kirkland Associates a seeking a time served welder to lead and supervise a small fabrication workshop for our client located in north Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced welder to still be very hands on performing welding duties whilst supervising a team to ensure the highest possible standards.
Welding Supervisor - The Role:
- MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Implement Lean Manufacturing processes
- Responsible for Quality Control
- Direct supervision and training of the workshop team including apprentices
- Conduct team briefings and tool box talks
- Create a positive and safe working environment
- Time served/Coded MIG Welder
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Can demonstrate the ability to supervise & inspire a team
- Skilled in MMA & TIG Welding with stainless steel (desirable)
Friday - 07:30 to 13:30
28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
