CAD Designer New

Job Description

• Compile drawings for client approval from front sheet, specification and information provided                                   
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times in your area.                                    
• Attend site meetings with clients as and when required.                     
• Responsible for managing and updating relevant databases.            
• Any other task requested by line manager.
• Act as customer liaison                               
• Provide technical help and information to shop floor and service department (incl. site visits).
• Liaise with design team to resolve production or development problems.

• ONC, BTEC or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• Competent in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D
• Competent in the use of Autodesk Inventor including knowledge of coding using iLogic
• MS Office Experience including MS Excel
