Kirkland Associates are seeking a qualified Automotive Electrical Engineer to join our clients small mobile team to travel extensively throughout the UK to undertake installation, repair and maintenance work. A flexible approach to working and being able to perform urgent unscheduled repairs is essential.

Kirkland Associates are seeking a qualified Automotive Electrical Engineer to join our clients small mobile team to travel extensively throughout the UK to undertake installation, repair and maintenance work. A flexible approach to working and being able to perform urgent unscheduled repairs is essential.
The Role:
- Installation of specialist aftermarket equipment into vehicles – safety & security products into commercial vehicles
- Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams
- Modifying electrical circuits Loom building and installation
- Removing, fitting, and upgrading interior components
- Extensive travelling with overnight stays
The Candidate:
- Must have good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and be able to diagnose basic and complex faults
- Experience in installing aftermarket equipment into new and used vehicles
- Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams
- Modifying electrical circuits Loom building and installation
- Removing, fitting, and upgrading interior components
- Willingness to travel along with frequent overnight stays
- Auto Electrical qualification (IMI, FCS)
- Undertake enhanced Security Check
