Kirkland Associated are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients precision engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual with a background in engineering design to contribute to innovative projects in a thriving company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing mechanical components and systems using 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD & Inventor)
- Producing detailed drawings, models and technical documentation
- Collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
- Conducting design reviews and modifications to meet project requirements
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines
- Proven experience in an Engineering Design role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor for 2D and 3D design
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
