Job Description

Our fantastic client, a law firm based in Coventry, are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their great team. You will provide support to the Financial Controller, Partners and internal members of staff to ensure the smooth running of the department and Firm.

Salary up to 27k depending on experience
Monday to Friday
Permanent role

The role:

Maintaining and reconciling client accounts
Expenses
Checking and posting of bills
Maintaining and reconciling the purchase ledger
Preparation of the vat return
Nominal payments
Checking and paying search suppliers (Index, One Search and PSG)

The Candidate:

Ability to work under pressure, with a high standard of accuracy is essential
General understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles, and the associated terminology
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Good understanding of Excel, Word and MS office.
Ability to work within the requirement of confidentiality
Ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team.
