Job Description
A vacancy has arisen with a Warwick firm at a Legal Assistant to support their fee earners with Court of Protection work. The team of experienced specialists are highly in this area of complex and challenging law.

- Manage new enquiries, taking initial details and gathering relevant information in order to allocate to appropriate fee earner
- Being a point of contact for existing clients, their family, support team or third parties involved in the matter
- Assist clients with welfare, financial and property matters
- Processing client invoices generated internally and making arrangements to settle the same once approved
- Preparing files to go out to an external costs’ draftsperson
- Providing assistance and legal support to the Court of Protection Property and Finance team in managing various tasks and administration on client matters
- Experience within a Legal Admin or Finance Admin role desirable but not essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and drive
- An interest in working with and supporting vulnerable clients with their property and financial affairs
- Good Communication skills, including ability to build a good rapport and be patient
- Flexible and dependable, able to take the initiative
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic
