    Maintenance Engineer
     
    Derby
    39 hour flexi-hours contract
    Salary dependant on experience

    Kirkland Associates are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team based in Derby. Based within a structural steel manufacturing environment, this role is responsible for coordinating and conducting all maintenance and service related duties.

    Maintenance Engineer - The role
    • Being hands-on to coordinate and carry out all maintenance to ensure an efficient production operation
    • Planning and carrying out PPM, calibrations & safety checks
    • Be proficient at maintaining a variety of engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems
    • Manage the procurement process for new parts and spares
    • Manage a small team, workload and prioritise jobs within timescales
    Maintenance Engineer - The candidate
    • Have a strong understanding of the operation of CNC Machinery
    • Ability to calibrate axis and fault find with the HMI
    • Have an engineering qualification in an electrical or mechanical discipline
    • Must have electrical experience
    • Able to manage digital records of maintenance
