Production Manager (Construction & Building Materials)
 
Location - Somercotes & Mansfield
Salary - £30,000 - £40,000

Kirkland Associates are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our clients team and lead their Production and Manufacturing operations. This is a critical role in managing resources, people and processes to maximise productivity and ensure smooth operations

Production Manager - The role

• Ensuring that products are made on time, to the required quality standards and on budget
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand
• Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of high performance
• Manage budgets, production costs, and resource planning to maximize efficiency
• Working at multiple site across Derbyshire and north Nottinghamshire

Production Manager - The candidate

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in construction
• Experience with production planning, lean manufacturing, and process improvement
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good technical knowledge, understanding of machinery, production methods
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff & senior management
