Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Ripley, Derbyshire
£45,000 inc shift allowance

Kirkland Associates are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients engineering team. This permanent role offers a competitive salary including a shift allowance and the opportunity to make a real impact in a thriving Engineering & Manufacturing environment. As a skilled Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing both reactive and proactive maintenance to ensure productivity at all times.

• Proactive maintenance and reactive troubleshooting to maximize productivity
• Collaborate with engineers, operators and management team to identify and implement innovative solutions
• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment

Preferred Requirements:

• 17th or 18th edition, PLC fault-finding and programming skills would be desirable
• Skilled in fault-finding and troubleshooting electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, inverters and servo drives
• Experienced in industrial wiring, circuitry and electrical systems within hydraulics and pneumatics
• Willing and able to work a 3-shift system to ensure continuous operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Time-served Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of successful maintenance operations
• Demonstrated ability to perform effective electrical maintenance and fault-finding solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues
