Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Kirkland Associates are seeking a Project Design Engineer to join their clients Engineering team who are a Tier 1 supplier in the Automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied projects from the initial customer enquiry through to site installation. You will have a flexible approach to working due to the projects undertaken with a genuine enthusiasm to assist colleagues in other departments.
Project Design Engineer - The role
- Produce designs for customers using SolidWorks
- Conduct site surveys
- Produce parts list & Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Work closely with the workshop during the fabrication process
Project Design Engineer - The candidate
- Proficient in the use of SolidWorks or similar software
- Confident to engage with customers by phone and on site
- Willingness to work away when necessary including abroad
- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm to assist other colleagues when required
