Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Stores person for a fantastic client based in Castle Donington.Permanent role.
Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
Up to £27,000 depending on experience.
Stores Person - The Role:
- Distribute equipment according to load lists.
- Monitor stock levels, reporting shortages.
- Ordering stock and materials as directed.
- Keep work area tidy.
- Forklift driving to load/unload vehicles and move equipment when necessary.
- Supervision of full time and part time workers where allocated.
- Ensure all equipment is sent to site in correct containers and stacked/secured to inhibit movement during transportation.
- Ensure all equipment returned to the yard is processed correctly, ensuring maintenance and small repairs where necessary.
- Report any damage promptly and issue correct paperwork.
- Involved in Company annual stock takes
- Forklift operator
- Team player with good communication skills
- Proactive with a good level of numeracy
- Able to work under pressure and within tight timescales
- Good IT skills
- Full driving licence
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
