We’re excited to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with our Nottingham-based client, who are currently going through an exciting period of growth. They’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Customer Service Manager to join their team. This role will start as a Customer Service Team Leader, giving you time to learn the business inside and out, before stepping up into the Manager position after 6 months. You’ll receive full training, work in a modern and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and comfortable taking on day-to-day customer service tasks, while also effectively leading and supporting the team
The Role:
Lead, coach, and mentor a small customer service team.
Act as the first point of contact for customers, working hands-on alongside your team.
Keep clients informed about stock levels, delivery schedules, and updates.
Handle customer issues, ensuring a positive and professional experience every time.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and couriers, resolving any delivery or stock issues.
Oversee onboarding, training, and absence management.
Identify ways to improve processes and boost team efficiency through coaching.
Ensure all issues are resolved within agreed timeframes and service standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a similar role, such as Customer Service Team Leader, Senior Customer Service Representative, or Manager.
Comfortable managing a team while being hands-on in customer service tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Highly organised with great attention to detail.
Confident juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work one Sunday per month, with one day off during the week.
