Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking client based in the Derby area, who are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager, particularly those from the hygiene or washroom industry, although we can consider candidates from other sectors who have a proven track record of selling to senior decision-makers such as Heads of Sustainability, Facilities Managers, etc.

Location: Derby (Full-time, Permanent)
Salary: £30-35k base + OTE £65-70k
Additional Benefits: Car Allowance & bonus 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business growth through proactive outreach including meetings, telesales, market research, and product presentations.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients to increase sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close deals effectively, managing objections and addressing customer concerns with professionalism.
  • Consistently work towards achieving monthly revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Produce accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
The Candidate:
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Proven experience in a proactive sales role, with a focus on relationship-building and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience in the hygiene or washroom sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain highly productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full, clean driving license is required for this role.
