We have an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking client based in the Derby area, who are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager, particularly those from the hygiene or washroom industry, although we can consider candidates from other sectors who have a proven track record of selling to senior decision-makers such as Heads of Sustainability, Facilities Managers, etc.
Location: Derby (Full-time, Permanent) Salary: £30-35k base + OTE £65-70k Additional Benefits: Car Allowance & bonus Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business growth through proactive outreach including meetings, telesales, market research, and product presentations.
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients to increase sales opportunities.
Negotiate and close deals effectively, managing objections and addressing customer concerns with professionalism.
Consistently work towards achieving monthly revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Produce accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
The Candidate:
Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
Proven experience in a proactive sales role, with a focus on relationship-building and closing deals.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Previous experience in the hygiene or washroom sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain highly productive in a fast-paced environment.
A full, clean driving license is required for this role.
