Kirkland Associates have a great opportunity for a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our well-established client based in Derby.

Conveyancing Legal Secretary- The role:

  • Providing secretarial support to Solicitors
  • General administrative tasks such as photocopying and scanning documents
  • Dealing with clients efficiently and politely
  • Answer telephone calls and deal with them accordingly
  • Manage own workload with minimal supervision
  • Deal with file related queries face to face or over the phone
  • Prepare reports, legal correspondence and documents
  • Keep an established filing system

Conveyancing Legal Secretary- The candidate:

  • IT literate- including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both over the phone and face to face
  • Able to prioritise workload accordingly
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed
  • Able to use own initiative
