Job Description

One of our clients are currently in need of an experienced Legal secretary to join their Dispute Resolution team on a Part-Time basis.  You will provide secretarial support to several fee earners as well as providing administrative support where necessary.

Previous experience within Commercial or Litigation is desirable

Part-Time Legal Secretary – The Job

  • Creating/amending documents and letters
  • Digital dictation / audio typing
  • Collating billing guides, drafting narratives and covering letters to clients / liaising with accounts team on billing matters
  • Time recording
  • Updating the case management system
  • Photocopying, filing and scanning
  • Daily email management
  • File opening and closing
  • Taking telephone calls, dealing with queries where able or otherwise communicating these to fee earner


Part-Time Legal Secretary – The Candidate

  • Proven Legal Secretarial experience ideally within Commercial/ Litigation
  • Fast, accurate typing skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel and advanced Powerpoint skills
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Pro-active and "can do" attitude
