We have an exctiting opportunity for a Paralegal with family law experience to join our Derby based client as they require administrative support to Partners and Solicitors within the team.

This is a very busy role and so the ideal candidate will have at least 6 months family experence in order to hit the ground running.

Duties will include;

• Answering incoming telephone calls
• Providing advice and information to clients on general family law matters including Divorce, Ancillary Relief, Child Arrangements, Domestic Abuse etc
• Progressing client files
• Attending meetings with clients to take instructions
• Drafting legal documents and general correspondence
• Attending case conferences
• Maintaining client files
• Preparing files for archiving

To be considered for this role you should have completed a Law Degree and have some experience within Family Law. You will need to possess excellent client care skills and have the ability to prioritise workloads.
