Job Description

My client are a prestigious and expanding business based near Castle Donington. Due to internal promotion, they are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for maximising business opportunities to drive sustainable value for the business through an unrivalled digital experience which in turn will drive brand relevance and growth as well as ecommerce sales. Key accountabilities will include:

  • To support the marketing and ecommerce teams in the development and effective implementation of the brand strategy across the digital sphere
  • To develop and drive the digital content strategy, ensuring content is both compelling and fully integrated across multiple channels
  • To develop seasonal and campaign assets that will support ecommerce growth both owned channels as well as third party key retail accounts
  • To increase relevance of the brand to consumers across social media as well as manage those social channels and buy media strategically to support the digital objectives

Digital Marketing Manager - The Role

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual brand plan, with particular reference to the digital sphere
  • Bring seasons and campaigns to life on all digital channels, driving both brand growth as well as ecommerce sales
  • Working closely with the trade and ecommerce teams to develop the online representation of the brand across digital channels with retail partners
  • Initiate targeted retailer activation online to elevate brand partnerships and maximise available brand assets
  • Manage and maintain all social media channels and manage the community interaction
  • Manage 3rd party relationships for ongoing platform development, SEO, paid and social advertising
  • Assist in the creation of digital campaigns, strategy and drive improvements through A/B testing
  • Share Digital Marketing updates across the business to relevant stakeholders where appropriate
  • Produce accurate and logical reports reporting on ROI versus investment on all activities undertaken
  • Closely manage the Digital Marketing budget maximising spend across all digital touchpoints

Digital Marketing Manager - Essential Attributes:

  • Experience within a consumer focussed business - preferably within sports or a performance clothing brand
  • Proven experience of delivering content strategies for an established B2C brand as well as managing social media platforms
  • Strong ability to establish a voice and understand our brands audience
  • Creative and able to produce innovative ideas
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal relationship building skills with a strong eye for design
  • Experience of working with ecommerce and content management platforms - Magento preferable
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimisation methodologies and paid search strategy
  • Photography and photo/video editing skills as well as general artwork capability
  • Able to work flexibly, to handle change and to work as part of a team
  • Able to accurately produce and analyse reports and documentation
  • Possession of and ability to use initiative
  • Self-motivated, able to effectively prioritise and plan workload to strict deadlines
  • Highly commercial and driven to deliver growth
