Job Description

Our client are a world leader in their division, who offer great benefits to their staff. They are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team at Castle Donington. The right candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service at all times. This is a temp to perm role, offering 25 days holiday.

Hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am- 5pm

Customer Service Advisor- The role:

  • Communicate with customers over the phone and email
  • Processing and generating appropriate documents
  • Proactively manage all aspects of customer quotes, orders and enquiries within certain timescales
  • Record customer complaints and liaise with correct department to ensure resolutions
  • Promote company products/services
  • Continuously search to make improvements for the customer’s experience and effectiveness of the company
  • Carry out external sales with customer visits/ relationship management where appropriate
  • Assist with service scheduling as required
  • Endorse Health and Safety requirements
  • Working alongside customer service manager and sales directors to support promotions of campaigns and special offers

Customer Service Advisor- The Candidate:

  • Must be customer service focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including great phone manner
  • Have good time management and organisational skills
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • IT literate- including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be flexible with work that needs to be done
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
  • Proactive and able to work as part of a team and use own initiative
  • Need to be savvy on computer systems
