Job Description

Our client provides high quality apartments and accommodation across the East Midlands. They currently have a great opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join their supportive team based across various sites. The right candidate will be someone who is looking for continued professional development, as our client offer substantial opportunities for career progression.

This is a full time role, the hours are: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Some out of hours duties may also be required.

Assistant Manager - The Role:

  • Assisting and reporting to the General Manager
  • Promoting company values and beliefs to clients
  • Responsible for the sales and operational aspects of centres
  • Conduct client visits
  • Assist with client arrivals/departures, ensuring offices are always dressed and presentable ready for showings
  • Responsible for operational performance and management support systems
  • Manage and motivate support staff to maintain positive attitude and working environments
  • You will be co-responsible for setting and delivering budgets
  • Provide support for the sales and marketing teams for the accommodation
  • Liaise with guests when commencing the booking process and updating online sites and spreadsheets as necessary
  • Maintain and order stock for accommodation accordingly
  • Responsible for out of hours issues
  • Seek business opportunities when appropriate
  • Support company aspirations to promote growth and profit rises

Assistant Manager- The Candidate:

  • Be professional and presentable at all times
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Able to problem solve efficiently
  • Confident in communicating with people and has good interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focussed
  • Sales driven to see a sale through to the end
  • Can work as part of a team and is able to motivate colleagues- support and guide as necessary
  • IT literate
